About Us
Precious Plastic Vientiane or PPV is a youth-led initiative that aims to tackle plastic waste pollution in Vientiane capital, Laos. Inspired by Precious Plastic Global Community, we are a part of thousand communities worldwide that focus on youth engagement and promote upcycling among youth.
Founded in 2022, we have launched youth engagement campaigns to raise awareness about plastic pollution and empower youth community through workshops, training and hand-on upcycling activities.

We have partnered with several organizations, shops and institutions to set up waste collection points. Find out nearby collection point to donate your plastic waste and be part of PPV community.
We collect cleaned plastic wastes type 2 (HDPE) and 5 (PP) for upcycling into new valuable items such as: bottle lids, food containers, milk bottles, shampoo bottles, etc.
